Holihan Associates LLC provided A/E Design  Project Management services to BES Design Build Project who were under  contract to the Salem VA Medical Center to provide professional  services, including option analysis, phasing recommendations,  investigative surveys and reports, planning, consultation and visits,  design work, preparation of contract drawings and specifications,  preparation of cost estimates and provision of construction period  services, as necessary for all demolition, construction, inspection,  testing and certification for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and  other components for project 658-316, Expand and Renovate Dental Clinic,  at VAMC Salem, Virginia. BES D/B provided Engineering Services, CB  Design Group provided Architecture and Quality Control on the project  and OCMI served as Cost Estimator. This work  includes providing A/E  services for construction of approximately 8,000 SF of additional space  coupled with renovation of approximately 10,260 SF existing space. The  8,000 SF of new space shall be a vertical expansion of the proposed  Renal Dialysis Clinic expansion (also designed by BES Design/Build).  This work includes all aspects of the site work, structural, mechanical,  electrical, plumbing, life safety, fire safety and other necessary  components to provide fully functional and efficient Dental Clinic Space  to ensure the Medical Center remains capable of providing immediate and  efficient dental care to our veteran population. As a foundational  component of the design, Mr. Holihan facilitated/directed the design  charrette for the project, which sized the dental clinic and its  component capabilities and produced the Design Program which defined the  scope and size of the Dental Clinic.
